SALUDUS / PRIVACY
You stay in control of your movement data.
This notice explains which data the Saludus phone and watch apps use, why it is used, where it is kept and which controls are available to you.
Data we process
If you use an account, we process your email address, verification records and sessions. With your permission, Saludus may use GPS points, routes, distance, duration, pace, workout measurements and phone or watch battery status. Your emergency contact and home location remain in secure storage on your device.
Why we use it
Data is used to protect your account, record activities, provide routes and weather, synchronise phone and watch, export to a health platform when requested, and run live-location sharing that you start. We do not use it for advertising profiles or sell personal data.
Location and route services
Route, elevation, map and approximate-weather requests may pass through the secured Saludus API to selected service providers. Those providers technically process the route points or approximate location needed for the request. Provider names and retention terms will be published here when production contracts are final.
Live-location sharing
Live sharing is off by default and must be started by you for each activity. The server keeps only the latest valid location rather than a route history. Links expire and can be revoked; the access secret stays in the URL fragment and is not sent to server logs.
Device and health platforms
Activity history and offline routes are kept in encrypted local storage. Export to Apple Health or Android Health Connect occurs only with separate permission, and those copies are controlled through the operating system’s privacy settings.
Retention and deletion
Short-lived verification, session and live-sharing records are automatically deleted when their purpose ends. You can delete your account and server records in the app and separately erase local Saludus data. Copies in a health platform are managed through that platform.
